We have qualified and experienced tutors and all our certificated courses are accredited with The Council for the Advancement of Communication with Deaf People (CACDP).

Our ‘Pre Level’ courses are not accredited with the CACDP, they are purely to improve and develop your language skills in preparation for the NVQ. At the end of the course you will get a certificate of attendance and should be prepared to move on to the NVQ.

CACDP

The CACDP is an awarding Body accredited with the Qualification and Curriculum Authority (QCA): the national examination board in Sign Language and other Human Aids to Communication. It is comprised of deaf and hearing representatives from national organisations concerned with deafness.

Its purpose is to improve communication between deaf and hearing people – and thus advance the welfare, status and opportunities of those who are deaf in a hearing world.
