USHER AWARENESS

Do you know what Usher Syndrome is?
How many Deaf people have Usher Syndrome?
Would you like to know how to communicate with Deaf Usher people?
Would you like to know how to guide an Usher person safely?

This course is especially useful for CSW's. It will be taught by someone who has Usher Syndrome and will give students first hand information about the condition. Students will also learn how to use existing signing skills and how to build on those skills to be able to communicate efficiently with an Usher person.
